Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. You will work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics, to help patients manage their illnesses and injuries.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with personal care activities, such as bathing and dressing
- Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatments
- Document patient care and progress in medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have a valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
